Day 1 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive into Delhi airport where you will be met and shall be tranferrd to your hotel which is located near New Delhi Railway station, cause you shall be boarding train to Amritsar. Night stay is in Delhi
Day 2: Delhi – Amritsar
Morning check out and drive to New Delhi Railway station to board your train for Amritsar. Amritsar is the center of Sikh religion, where the Golden Temple is situated. Pilgrims from all faiths gather at the Golden Temple, an honor to the ethnicities of a faith whose holy book is a collation of the writings of men of different faiths. Evening is free for leisure and rest
Day 3: Amritsar
After breakfast, discover the Golden Temple and visit the community kitchen ( langar ) where volunteers feed 30,000 people daily for free. Afterwards, visit the momentous Jallianwala Bagh, memorialising the hundreds of innocent Indians killed under the British rule. In the afternoon, enjoy andaytrip to Wagah Border to observe the change of the guard ceremony between Indian and Pakistani armies. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 4: Amritsar – Dharamsala
In the morning, head forDharamsala, the residence of the Dalai Lama and a chief Buddhist site. Dharamsala is located in the upper ranges of the Kangra Valley and enfolded by dense coniferous forest. The hill-station town is best recognized as the home of the expatriate Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan exile world in India. The city is a centre for Tibetan arts and crafts plus with several art galleries. The Dalai Lama temple and other Buddhist monasteries are set in beautiful and serene surroundings.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight in Dharamsala.
Day 5:Dharamsala
After breakfast, continue for a full day tour of Dharamsala. Stopover at the Dalai Lama Temple and Bhagsu Nag Temple. Also discover the Norbulingka Institute and its small museum. Afterwards, ensue to Kangra State Museum. The rest of the day is free to explore McLeod Ganj at your leisure. Overnight in Dharamsala.
Day 6:Dharamsala – Palampur
Head forPalampur, exploring the Kangra valley tea plantations on the way. The Palampuris famed for its tea gardens. The several streams, watercourses and green plains of Palampurdiverge a theatrical backdrop of the Dhauladhar mountain range which remains snow covered for almost the whole year. On arrival in Palampur, check in to your hotel. The evening is free to rest. Overnight in Palampur.
Day 7: Palampur – Manali
Go to Manali, a small town and a famous hill station located on Beas River Valley. This hill station proffers activities such as trekking, mountain biking, paragliding and more. On arrival check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is for leisure and rest. Night stay is in Manali
Day 8 :Manali
Today visit Nagar Castle and its Reorich Art Gallery, which exhibits the reserved collection of the paintings by the celebrated Russian painter Nicolas Reorich. Continue to Old Manali and the Manu Temple. The evening is free to rest or explore. Overnight in Manali.
Day 9 :Manali – Sarchu
Head to Sarchu, on the way have a breakt at Rohtang Pass and Baralacha Pass. On arrival, check in at the camp, where the rest of the day is free. Overnight in Sarchu.
Day 10 :Sarchu – Leh
Continue to Leh, go across Tanglangla Pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world at 5350 metres. Relish the environmental beauty of the mountains as you prolong the drive across the plains, where there are minute colonies of Marmots, Yaks and Herbs. Drive to the rough Lachungla Pass at 5065 metres. On arrival in Leh, check in to the hotel, where the evening is free to rest. Overnight in Leh.
Day 11 :Leh
After breakfast, see Hemis Gompa, the main Gompa of Ladakh. Continue to the monastery of Thiksey Gompa and Shanti Stupa. Overnight in Leh.
Day 12 :Leh
Today you will be exploring the imposing Tibetan-style Leh Palace. In the afternoon, search the bustling Leh Bazaar before visiting Leh Jokhang and its statue of Joyo Rinpochey ( crowned Buddha ). Overnight in Leh.
Day 13 :Leh– Delhi & Depar
Get transferred to the airport at the appropriate time to catch your flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi board your flight for onwards journey. Tour Ends
