Day 1 Arrive Hyderabad
Day 1 Arrive Hyderabad
Arrive into Hyderabad airport where you will be greeted and will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Hyderabad is the capital of State of Andhra Pradesh, India. It has influences of Islamic and Hindu religion. The city was founded in 1589 by Mohammad Quli Qutub Shah. Night stay is in Hyderabad
Day 2 In Hyderabad
Today discover “Biryani” famous as Food of the Kings in Hyderabad and enjoy a traditional meal. Spend your day for leisure or rest. Night stay is in Hyderabad.
Opt for light and sound show at Golconda Fort, Hyderabad. There is massive illumination at entire fort which explains historical events from 13th century onwards. Show starts at 1930 hours daily for one hour in English.
Day 3 Hyderabad – Madurai – Chettinad
After breakfast, board a short flight for Madurai. Madurai is located on the banks of River Vaigai, it is an vital cultural and commercial city since 550 AD. On arrival at Madurai explore Sree Meenakshi Temple.
After lunch at Madurai, head to Chettinad and check in to your hotel. Evening free. Overnight in Chettinad.
To get good quality of fabric, scarves, jewellery, handicrafts and art work try inside the roomy Puthu Mandapam, a 17th century pillared entrance hall just opposite Meenakshi Temple’s east tower in Madurai.
Day 4 In Chettinad
Chettinad is best famous for its exclusive ancient temples. Tamil Nadu was previously ruled by Chola Dynasty which built some of the intricate temples in Southern India.
Devoted to several Hindu Gods, these temples embrace elaborate life sized carvings and stunning murals. Explore some great ancient temples of Chettinad. Night stay is in Chettinad.
Go for a visit of Athangudi Village in Chettinad, famous for handmade terracotta tiles. Usually these tiles are offered in flora and fauna designs and are famous for dark, white and earthy colors.
Day 5 Chettinad – Palakkad
Start out early for Palakkad in Kerala. You will be driven through serene towns, villages and lush tropical countryside. On arrival check in at Heritage homestay ( if available ). Palakkad is big town which is surrounded by small villages and is also abode to Palakkad Fort.
The area is also famous for its paddy fields, rice cultivation and many other traditional festivals each year. Rest or stroll around the local village and countryside. In the evening enjoy some Kerala Dishes on banana leaves.
If time permits then opt to visit Parambikulam Wildlife sanctuary to view scenic vistas, amid dense forestation and lakes. Also see the worlds largest living teak tree with estimated age of 460 year in Palakkad.
Day 6 Palakkad – Munnar
After breakfast, head for beautiful Munnar, recognized for its lurching green hills, the most spectacular stunning hill station of Western Ghats. Alleged as three rivers, Munnar was once a favorite spot of British rulers during colonial days.
It’s tea plantations are famous world wide and the local Eravikulam National Park is home to endangered Nilgiri Tahr mountain Goat. On arrival check in at your hotel.
Day 7 Munnar
Full day is for leisure and rest. Optionally learn how to pick tea leaves stems from the tea plants or just relax in your hotel for the rest of the day. Night stay is in Munnar
Visit Mattupetty dam famous for beautiful lake, do boat ride and enjoy surrounding hills and landscape in Munnar, Kerala.

Day 8 Munnar – Thekkady
After a relaxed breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, the spice capital of India. After check in at your hotel you have free time to explore the surroundings, do some bird-watching or take a nap. In the evening you can opt to eat outside from the hotel you are staying. Overnight in Thekkady.
Day 9 Thekkady
After breakfast, set off for a boat ride on Lake Periyar (On direct payment basis).
Watch out for local wildlife ( elephants, deer and sloth bears ) that come to the lake for water. Later opt for a two-hour jungle walk. In the mid afternoon, you will explore one of Thekkady’s many spice plantations.
Realize all about the spices that are developed here – pepper, cardamom, nutmeg, cloves and more. Return to your hotel and have dinner. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 10 Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey. On arrival, board the houseboat for a ride through Kerala’s captivating backwaters. You will see countless birdlife, rice barges and Chinese cantilever fishing nets. You can watch the onboard chef prepare a Karimeen ( pearl spot ) fry. Night is on board.
Sailing the backwaters – one of the most beautiful experiences! Perceive village life on the shore while cruising on the backwaters.
Day 11 Alleppey – Cochin
After breakfast, check out and drive to Cochin. Cochin is a major port city and was once much liked by English, Portugese and Dutch due to its location and the reputation in lucrative spice trade. Watch Dutch Palace, Synagogue and Fort Cochin. Night stay is in Cochin
Watch Chinese fishing nets similar to aliens from Ridley Scott sci-fi film, are functioning endlessly for past six hundred years, in Cochin, Kerala
Go for famous Kerala Fish curry where seer fish from the ocean, cooked in coconut milk with green chillies and curry leaves makes the fish utterly delicious to eat, in Cochin, Kerala
Day 12 Cochin Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin airport to board your flight for onwards journey. Tour Ends.
